Today was Sir Paul McCartney's sixty-fourth birthday...(BFD)...
Damned good thing it fell on a Sunday, otherwise it would have had to be declared an International Holiday...(probably by the UN) People the world over would have had to gather in parks and hold hands and sing old Beatles songs (is there any other kind?)... When he was sixteen he wrote the song about this age, and the planet acts as if it were written by the hand of God...Personally, I have nothing against the man...but even he has to be embarrassed by the media attention to a mere birthday...it isn't like he hit one-hundred today...altho he may well want to, since he is raising a two year old now...
We have too friggin' much media with too much airtime to fill...it will be the end of life on earth...intelligent life that is...
